Historic-type window EV47/IV78-3 has excellent thermal and sound insulation properties.
Extruded polystyrene foam has been integrated in the window frame to reduce the thermal conductivity and weight of the structure. Both the inner and the outer sash are opening inwards. The outer sash is 47mm thick with 4mm single glazing, the inner – 78mm thick with a two-chamber 40mm insulating glass unit and 2 sealing contours. For both sashes, we use modern Roto NT fittings, usually with T-shaped decorative handles. Concealed fittings may be selected for rectangular sashes.
Thermal conductivity coefficient of the window UW=0.8 W/m2K (calculated according to DIN EN ISO 10077-1), sound insulation around 40 dB.
For exploitation convenience, the handle of the outer sash is not positioned in the middle of the decorative bar, but constructively it can be placed on the closing bar.
Decorative cornices and capitals can be formed on the outside of the window.
