The outer sash of the Historic-type window EV47/IV78-2 is 47mm thick with 4mm single glazing, the inner one – 78 mm thick with a 24 mm single-chamber insulating glass unit and 2 sealing contours. For both sashes, we use modern Roto NT fittings, usually with T-shaped decorative handles. Concealed fitting may be selected for rectangular sashes.
Thermal conductivity coefficient of the window UW=1.0 W/m2K (calculated according toDIN EN ISO 10077-1), sound insulation around36 dB.
The handle of the outer sash is not positioned in the middle of the decorative bar, as is usually the case with the historic box-type windows – to be able to open the outer active (in this case the right) sash without opening the inner passive (in this case the left) sash. Besides, it allows connecting the outer sash with inner one using a special mechanism to be able to open both simultaneously with one handle and lock in ventilation position. If necessary, it is also possible to place both handles on the decorative closing bar. On the outside of the window, decorative cornices and capitalscan be formed.
